LoneTree Cider, a small, two-year old company uses BC cider apples from an old-growth orchard in the Okanagan, and processes them much like wine: crushed, fermented, filtered without artificial colors, flavors or grain glutens. Their Authentic Dry is a blend of Belle de Boskoop and Bramley cider apples, along with Okanagan favorites MacIntosh, Spartan and Golden Delicious. Conveniently canned (portability factor a big bonus), the cider is apple blossom fragrant, with delicately sweet apple notes, bright acid and a sharp, dry finish.
