Local Distillers Cocktail Party at Seattle’s Palace Ballroom TONIGHT!

Seattle’s Palace Ballroom Invites Local Distilleries to the Ball

What are you doing tonight? Will you be at the Palace Ballroom, watching cocktail artisans in action as you sip on nine creations featuring Northwest spirits?

Why not? You’re invited. The event is the second Local Distillers Cocktail Party hosted at Tom Douglas’s Palace Ballroom. Besides an excuse for an excellent cocktail party (because it’s February, and who doesn’t want one?), the gathering brings local spirits together with community members who enjoy and want to learn about them. It’s your chance to get to know the brands making a splash right now. Showcasing an intimate group of nine top distilleries representing from Ballard to Bainbridge, the modest size of the event allows guests to really get to know the spirits they’re experiencing, rather than overwhelming quality with quantity.

The cocktail party is designed to build a sense of community that includes locals and the liquors being produced in their own neighborhoods. So if you call yourself a local, come see how Oola Distillery’s Waitsburg Bourbon works in an Old Roy (as crafted by Brave Horse Tavern’s multitalented bar manager Renee Somerset-Mucha). Find out what shenanigans have been going on at Fremont Mischief Distillery. Experience the powerful flavor packed into Scrappy’s Bitters, recently featured on Top Chef Seattle. And see what progress Woodinville Whiskey has made on their plan to one day deliver the finest whiskey on earth.

The $35 ticket includes tastes of each cocktail and tasty treats to boot. Other than you and the above mentioned, the guest list also includes Bainbridge Organic Distillers, Captive Spirits, Project V, Sound Spirits and Sun Liquor.

Tuesday, February 26th || 5:30-7:30 pm || Palace Ballroom, 2100 5th Avenue, Seattle || Tickets: $35
