
From Vineyard to Grove; Leaders in Winemaking Unite to Create an Extra Virgin Olive Oil made with Certified Organic Olives
Walla Walla, WA – March 3 2026 – CEO & Director of Winemaking Josh McDaniels and Founder Drew Bledsoe of Bledsoe Wine Estates, today announced the launch of The Bledsoe|McDaniels Olive Mill, a certified organic extra virgin olive oil made by Master Miller, Paul Durant. The inaugural release will be available for purchase beginning in March 2026.
Created as a founder-led project, The Bledsoe|McDaniels Olive Mill reflects McDaniels’ and Bledsoe’s shared belief that exceptional products begin with intention, integrity, and respect for the land. While wine remains central to their work together, olive oil offered a natural opportunity to expand that philosophy into a product designed for everyday use, one that is purposeful for the kitchen and supportive of overall health.
“My Wife, Kim, and I have loved Paul’s olive oil craft for a long time.” Said Josh McDaniels, Founder. “Similar to my winemaking philosophy, I care about what is put into our bodies. The purity and health benefits of a product like this drew my attention and I got to work to see if we could make our own. The synergies felt like a natural extension of our existing business.”
The collaboration unites two families around a shared commitment to clean ingredients and thoughtful production. What began as an admiration for Paul Durant’s milling expertise evolved naturally into an adventure rooted in transparency, quality and a desire to create something purposeful for the kitchen and our health.
“This project grew out of curiosity and appreciation,” said Drew Bledsoe, co-founder. “We were drawn to the simplicity of well-made olive oil — how something so fundamental can elevate a meal and support the way we eat every day. The care that goes into this oil mirrors the same values we bring to everything we create.”
The inaugural harvest will be limited to approximately 225 cases, bottled in a 375mL format. Initial access will be offered to members of the Doubleback and Bledsoe|McDaniels members, with broader availability through a waitlist on the brand’s forthcoming website.
