Joe’s Living Kombucha Lemonade

by | Feb 9, 2015

As a potential solution to what seemed to be unanswerable quandary to their son’s early autism diagnosis, Doug and Aimee Heck changed the diet of two-year-old Joe. Healthier eating habits seemed to aid in their vanquish of autism (the Heck’s detail Joe’s recovery on their site), including the addition of homeopathy and probiotics by way of kombucha. Doug Heck’s fermented teas boomed between friends and family and spawned a business for the Hecks encouraging parents and children alike to get the additives and nutrition they needed. The current line  of Joe’s Living Kombucha ranges from Grape and Rosehip Hibiscus to Lemongrass-Ginger and Grapefruit-Pear-Lavender, along with the popular Lemonade. Tart and tangy naturally both from the citrus and the kombucha, a sweetness pulls through the middle of the palate and leaves a bright, juicy yet crisp taste on the lips.
