Fidalgo Bay Coffee Roasters Organic French Roast

by | Jul 27, 2015

Mornings are tough. Especially Monday mornings. A good cup o’ Joe can play a crucial role in the flow and overall success of your daily production, whether you’re tasked with performing as supporting cast or the lead for the day. Even if your nose or palate can detect it or not, a good cup is truly based on its ingredients and quality of roasting—something Burlington, Washington’s Fidalgo Bay Coffee Roasters takes into serious consideration. Certified USDA Organic and Fair Trade, this northern Washington roaster has been roasting small-batch beans in European roasters with seasoned cast-iron drums since 1992. Leaving it up to the bean itself, Fidalgo Bay oversees the delicate roasting process, from the first “crack” of the roasting bean to the second, softer one that signifies that the bean is almost good to go, to its “true coffee flavor.”

The Organic French Roast is a blend of Central and South American coffees, originating from high elevation, shade grown sites selected by Fidalgo Bay. Full-bodied, nutty, roasty and spiked by some sweet candied citrus notes, this roast is sure to spark some neurotransmitters and get the mind going. Even on a Monday.
