Penticton, B.C. – The wait is over. Evolve Sparkling House, the newest dedicated sparkling winery in the Okanagan, is thrilled to announce its grand opening on July 23, 2025.
Just minutes from downtown Penticton, at the start of the Naramata Bench, Evolve overlooks the Kettle Valley Rail Trail, Hoodoos, and shimmering Okanagan Lake. More than a winery, Evolve Sparkling House is a tribute to life’s everyday celebrations and a joyful invitation to wine lovers everywhere to sparkle their own way.
As excitement bubbles over, so does recognition. At the 2025 All Canadian Wine Championships, Evolve was named Canada’s Top Sparkling Producer, with its 2018 Brut Nature awarded Best in Category, officially earning the title of Canada’s Best Sparkling Wine of the Year

Ron and Shelley Mayert, co-founders and the heart behind the winery’s vision, bring a deep connection to British Columbia.
“I was born and raised in Summerland, in the heart of the Okanagan Valley,” says Ron Mayert. “Shelley, my wife, grew up on a farm in the Fraser Valley. Our strong BC roots, belief in the region’s potential to grow world-class fruit, and desire to give back to the communities that shaped our lives are at the core of our unique winery concept.”

Evolve’s portfolio is rooted in Methode Traditionnelle techniques, small-batch production, with a commitment to quality, launching with five carefully crafted sparkling wines and expanding to eight as new cuvées debut throughout the year. The team at Evolve deeply believes this region is perfect for growing grapes used in sparkling wine. Situated at the same latitude as France’s iconic Champagne region, the Okanagan Valley provides ideal conditions for growing traditional sparkling varieties, and it shows.
