Cider Riot! Never Give an Inch

by | Dec 30, 2014

A true brewmaster of the Pacific Northwest, Abram Goldman-Armstrong’s passion for beer and cider is evident in every barrel of Cider Riot! cider he produces. This urban cidery sits off of East Burnside in Portland where it produces scrumpy delights derived from apples grown in Cascadia. A seasonal addition to the Cider Riot! lineup, Never Give and Inch celebrates the “determination, hard work and downright cussedness” of invasive Himalayan blackberries. These berries traipse over fields and fence lines; taking over every spare bit of space they can get their vines on. Lucky for us, when combined with blackcurrants and Yakima-grown apples, a beverage rich with flavor and a fruity nose is born—tart, dry and the perfect addition to any meal or late night snack.
