Odd Society Spirits Crème de Cassis

by | Nov 14, 2014

“A family of spirits that entice and intrigue.” Such is what Vancouver’s Odd Society Spirits is on a mission to make.

The young craft distillery’s new Crème de Cassis hits the mark, marrying a secret recipe from the personal chef to the late Belgian King Leopold III with blackcurrants sourced entirely from within BC borders. Fermented and directly distilled on site in Vancouver, the resultant liqueur is sweet and delicately juicy, with a blood-red hue (even a tinge of royal purple) and a wide variety of potential applications including—but not limited to—serving over ice cream or pouring into white wine for an unconventional cocktail.
