Edwin Martinis, Briana Seeley and Chris Seeley Have Agreed to Acquire Oregon’s Mitchell Wine Group
Portland, Oregon — Today, Edwin Martinis, Briana Seeley and Chris Seeley agreed to acquire Mitchell Wine Group, completing founder David Brown’s long-term succession plan.
The new ownership group combines operational, commercial and financial leadership, positioning the Oregon-based wholesaler for its next phase while maintaining its focus on relationships, service and team culture.
“This business is about people,” said Martinis. “We’re excited to build on the strong foundation while continuing to evolve with the market.”
Martinis, who joined Mitchell Wine Group in 2014 and most recently served as General Manager, will become Chief Operating Officer. Briana Seeley joins as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing experience across wholesale and winery sectors. Chris Seeley, currently CFO of Mitchell, Lewis & Staver, will serve as Chief Financial Officer of Mitchell Wine Group while continuing in his role with the parent company.
