Opening in March 2025, the move is the second recent investment in the community
January 16, 2025, Newberg, Ore. – As Chehalem Winery prepares to open its new vineyard tasting room, the Stoller Wine Group is delighted to announce the grand opening of Stoller Wine Bar | Newberg on March 1, 2025. Located in the heart of downtown Newberg, the new wine bar invites guests to explore wines from the Stoller family of brands alongside cocktails, beers, expanded food menu, and live music every Saturday night.
“The new Stoller Wine Bar location brings a fun, innovative take on wine tastings to Newberg,” said Gary Mortensen, president of Stoller Wine Group. “We’re reimagining the traditional tasting room experience with dynamic offerings through wine, food, and community-focused events, creating a space that’s as engaging as it is welcoming.”
Reimagining the former Chehalem Tasting Room & Wine Bar space, Stoller Wine Bar | Newberg will showcase an impressive variety of terroir-driven Pinot Noirs, bold, sophisticated bigger reds and refreshing, summery canned wines from the Stoller Wine Group family of brands, including Stoller Family Estate, Chehalem, Chemistry, History, and Stoller Swing. Guests can also enjoy a seasonally rotating selection of local beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, accompanied by cheese and charcuterie boards and full food menu developed by Executive Chef Becca Richards, prepared and served from the new Stoller Wine Bar Food Cart. Fulfilling the community’s need for a casual yet elevated space for late-night fun, the new wine bar will showcase a diverse range of local talent with live music every Saturday evening, First Friday Bingo tournaments, exclusive whiskey tastings, and more, enhancing the vibrant, community-driven atmosphere.
“We are excited to welcome guests to a place they can unwind, explore unique wines and craft beverages, and connect in a fun, lively setting,” said Jourdan Carralejo, director of tasting rooms at Stoller Wine Group. “We’ve heard loud and clear from our patrons that they love having an upscale place to relax and feel welcomed, and we’re honored to fulfill the need.”
