Bend, Ore. – Willamette Valley Vineyards is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening for its Bend Tasting Room & Restaurant on Friday, June 14 from 3 pm to 4 pm. Representatives of Bend’s media outlets are invited to attend.
Willamette Valley Vineyards has expanded over the last two years in Oregon and Southwest Washington communities where the winery’s club members and stockholders live and show support for wine and food experiences closer to home.
The Bend location is Willamette’s fourth location built under the winery’s Tasting Room & Restaurant venture. More tasting rooms are operating in Lake Oswego, Vancouver (WA) and Happy Valley.
Local Bend public figures — including Mayor Melanie Kebler and Willamette Board Member Stan Turel — will attend the open house-style event and welcome the winery to the community.
Willamette Valley Vineyards Founder and CEO Jim Bernau will attend to thank the City of Bend for its warm reception.
“The Bend community has welcomed us with open arms and raised glasses,” Bernau said. “It is exciting to share the Willamette story with a community full of wine enthusiasts and bring another piece of wine country to Central Oregon.”
Located at 916 NW Wall Street, Willamette Valley Vineyards in Bend is a tasting room and restaurant featuring Oregon-grown wine and food inspired by the Pacific Northwest.
Willamette’s menu in Bend was created by Executive Winery Chef DJ MacIntyre. General Manager Cara Doering leads the Bend Tasting Room & Restaurant.
