Stanford’s Steak, the contemporary steakhouse and lounge in Downtown Tacoma, is excited to announce its inaugural Community Cocktail, benefiting Tacoma’s Rainbow Center, now being served at 1502 Pacific Ave!
As an Ascend Hospitality Group (AHG) restaurant, Stanford’s Steak is committed to elevating the local community it serves, investing wholly in both team members and guests to take service to the next level. Through AHG Cares, the philanthropic arm of the company, Stanford’s Steak has launched a Community Cocktail program, in which $1 from each Community Cocktail sold is donated to a featured nonprofit partner. The restaurant aims to focus on a specific charity each quarter, serving the featured cocktail for three months.
“As we come into our second year at Stanford’s Steak, it’s important to our restaurant team and our brand to more fully connect with the city of Tacoma and the community,” said Elaina Morris, AHG CEO and president. “We found the Rainbow Center to be the perfect inaugural beneficiary for this program.”
Within AHG Cares, the main philanthropic focuses are on education and youth services, the hospitality industry, and the fine arts. As a Black- and female-led company, AHG is also an advocate for equity and diversity, and by partnering with the Rainbow Center’s Education Program, the company is able to support cultural education, awareness, and inclusivity.
The inaugural cocktail, the Earl Grey Blues, was created by bartender Anna Benford and is comprised of Hendrick’s gin, Grey Goose l’Orange, sour, crème de violette, and Earl Grey simple syrup. The Earl Grey Blues is now available to sip and show up for the community.
