Get thirsty: lifestyle resource Seattle Refined is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Sip Publishing, publishers of drink magazine Sip Northwest, set to begin this fall.
In a joint effort, the two companies will share drink, food and travel print and digital content with each other, Sip publisher/CEO Kristin Ackerman and editor-in-chief Erin James will act as contributors to Seattle Refined’s television show and both companies will team up on hosting local events throughout the city.
“A collaboration just makes sense,” said Seattle Refined’s Managing Editor Britt Thorson. “Sip’s dedication to in-depth coverage of the local beverage scene is unparalleled, and something we’re elated about bringing to our audience.”
Each brand will continue the storytelling work they do best in their respective mediums; Seattle Refined on the culture and activities of the Pacific Northwest and Sip Northwest covering the drink, food and travel of the region. The two lifestyle authorities will tap each other’s unique and specific knowledge to make all of the mediums more thorough and interesting to readers and viewers — and to expand that audience.
“This is an opportunity for both Sip Northwest and Seattle Refined to reach drink enthusiasts unlike before,” Ackerman said. “We couldn’t collaborate with a better partner than Seattle Refined, we are thrilled to share our love of Northwest beverage with their audiences.”
Seattle Refined readers and viewers can start seeing integrated content on the web and television show within the next month. Likewise, Sip Northwest readers can watch out for signs of the new union in the fall Best of the Northwest issue, out Oct. 6.
