Letterpress Distilling Vodka

by | Jul 17, 2015

Seattle-based distiller Skip Tognetti named his operation Letterpress to allude to how he makes his spirits—by hand, so it’s apparent to anyone who tastes them that the finished product was created with intention and care (read more about it here). Letterpress Distilling’s vodka is no exception to this doctrine.

Distilled from barley and soft white winter wheat sourced entirely from within Washington State borders, the crystal-clear distillate displays a light, crisp nose with a surprising variety of floral elements and citrus notes. On the palate you’ll catch a hint of the grain base, which is swiftly overruled by fresh lemony citrus and even a hint of blueberry. The finish is clean with a touch of sweetness—altogether this vodka is remarkably smooth and enjoyable, and perfect for refreshing summer cocktails.
