COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE, OR – May 16, 2025 – Wood Family Spirits is proud to announce the groundbreaking of its new Columbia Distillery in Dallesport, Washington. The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 19, at 10:00 AM, located at 151C Parallel Avenue in the Port of Klickitat Dallesport Industrial Park.
Developed in partnership with the Port of Klickitat, the Washington State Department of Commerce, and Klickitat County, this state-of-the-art, sustainably focused distillery represents a major investment in the regional economy and craft beverage industry.
Rooted in five generations of Pacific Northwest heritage, the Wood family legacy includes early pioneers such as Captain John H. Couch and C.E.S. Wood. This generation is building a contemporary distillery campus using 100% renewable energy to bring authentic, Northwest spirits to life. “We are Northwesterners making premium spirits for Northwesterners.”
Wood Family Spirits currently produces three signature award winning offerings: O.G. Vodka, Columbia Bourbon, and the limited-edition Multnomah Falls Lodge 100th Anniversary Bourbon.
O.G. Vodka
Crafted from Columbia River cabernet sauvignon grapes, O.G. Vodka captures the essence of the Gorge. Distilled 24 times and chill-filtered for purity, it delivers a smooth, refined profile with hints of honeysuckle, stone fruit, almond, and lychee.
Columbia Bourbon
Honoring 150 years of tradition, Columbia Straight Bourbon is a classic mash bill and aged four years in new charred oak barrels. Bottled at 100 proof, it offers bold notes of toffee, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and black pepper.
Multnomah Falls Lodge 100th Anniversary Bourbon
A small-batch tribute to Oregon’s heritage, this award winning limited release celebrates the centennial of Multnomah Falls Lodge. Rich with caramel, toasted oak, and subtle spice, it’s a smooth, enduring expression of Pacific Northwest craftsmanship.
