WildCraft, a Eugene based cidery that forages and naturally ferments wild and abandoned fruit is collaborating to offer a unique varied offering in the well-known Yachats Farm Store & Brewing space. With a shared passion for permaculture, methods of natural food preservation, and culture cultivation, this collab has been in discussion for 5+ years with hopes to bring our cider and orcharding practices to Yachats.
We have offered distinct examples of resource utilization and awareness around food resiliency and community currency through one-of-a-kind barter systems, creating unique and special ciders, food, and medicine – all without reliance on big agricultural and conglomerates. It is within the collaboration with Nathan of Yachats Brewing that we are entering a new chapter with offerings that are rooted in a collective ethos to both Yachats Farm Store & Brewing and WildCraft Cider Works.
We anticipate opening by the end of July, pending licensing and some minor modifications of the space, with initial offerings that include hard cider, wildcrafted tea, juices, smoked and fermented foods, and pantry goods, as well as beer and wine.
