WildCraft Cider Works Elderberry Perry

by | Aug 18, 2015

Wild can come in all shapes and sizes. At WildCraft Cider Works in Eugene, Oregon, wild comes in the form of whole fruits, native yeasts, botanicals and unpasteurized, bottle conditioned dry ciders and perrys. The Elderberry Perry takes berries of its namesake from nearby mountains, destems them by hand and ferments the fruit whole in finished red Barlett perry.

Beautiful berry juice colors nearly glow in the glass and are backed by aromas of fresh flowers, pear skin, jammy yet sharp berries and farmhouse floor. Rugged and rustic on the palate with tart berry fruit and tangy acid, this perry is sumptuous in flavors of Oregon wilderness.
