Wander Brewing Together Belgian Dubbel

by | Oct 22, 2015

“Not all those who wander are lost,” once wrote J.R.R. Tolkien. You’ll discover this is indeed true after you experience the right-at-home atmosphere of Wander Brewing. Located in Bellingham, Washington, the brewery specializes in one thing: crafting award-winning brews. Everything else is left up to the community—when you need to nom during your beer break, feel free to dig into your own sack lunch or hit up one of the brewery’s daily food trucks. Heck, they’ll even let you order-in from your favorite local restaurant. The folks at Wander Brewing aren’t into fine chefery, but they support the notion of grubbin’ and gluggin’.

The brewery takes their profession the extra mile with Together Belgian Dubbel. Crafted with 55 pounds of imported dark Belgian candy sugar and specialty malts from Belgian and German maltsters (yes, that’s a career), this ale took the Silver Medal in the 2015 North American Beer Awards. With aromas of caramel and dark brown sugar followed by a malty finish, it is nothing short of a winner.
