New, Family‐Friendly Cider Tasting Room Now Open Just North of Atlanta

Treehorn Cider brought craft hard cider to Atlanta bars and restaurants in 2015, started canning in 2016 and has now — in response to popular demand — opened a tasting room at its production facility in Marietta, Ga.

“Since launching, we’ve fielded hundreds of emails and calls about whether or when we might open a tasting room. The support from our customers has blown us away over the past few years,” said Treehorn co‐founder Jason Marraccini. “We are thrilled the day has finally come when we can give our fans what they have been asking for.”

Treehorn is located at 1395 South Marietta Parkway in the American Business Center office park, near the intersection with Cobb Parkway and is open each week on Fridays (5 to 8 p.m.), Saturdays (12 to 6 p.m.) and Sundays (1 to 5 p.m.). Inside there’s ample hangout space —including big‐screen TVs, music, games and activities for kids and kids at heart — and outside there’s a dog‐friendly patio. Of course, customers also get to see the cidermaking process up close. Private events may be scheduled upon request.

“We take our ciders, not ourselves, seriously. The tasting room to reflects that and is a comfortable place to hang out with friends, see how cider is made and of course enjoy the different varieties of cider we make,” shared Treehorn’s co‐founder Nicole Wheeler. “We’ll offer not just those you can buy across the state, but also special creations you’ll find only at the cidery.”

Just last week, Treehorn launched Miyabi, a Japanese‐inspired cider infused with aromatic shiso and bright, citrusy yuzu. This refreshing and delicate cider honors traditional cider‐making but creates something very new.

“Each moment we have with friends only happens once, and should be celebrated with fine drink and good cheer,” explains Andrew Wheeler, ciderist and co‐founder. “In Japan, the saying is ‘Ichi‐go ichi‐e’ — literally ‘one time, one meeting,’ or loosely translated as ‘once in a lifetime’. The opening of our tasting room felt like the perfect time to release this special variety.”

Marietta‐based Treehorn Cider is also available in restaurants, bars, and retail stores throughout metro Atlanta and Georgia, Treehorn is best known for its clean, crisp and refreshingly dry taste.
