SPIRIT FRIDAY: Dry County Distillery Still Piddle Vodka

It’s one thing to make vodka and it’s another thing to make vodka that stands out from vodka. A dicey feat to accomplish successfully, but Marysville, Wash.’s Dry County Distillery gets the job done with their Still Vodka. The process is simple — distill and filter to the point that all of the grain-based and burnt flavor characteristics seen in mass-produced vodkas are removed. Dry County sports a spirit that is clean and silky smooth, colorless and flavorless, the unique combination to equaling high-quality vodka. Also brings a proud tear to this writer’s eye to see her hometown going back to its moonshining ways.
