The Daily Sip: 2bar Spirits Moonshine

SPIRIT FRIDAY: 2bar Spirits Moonshine

Nathan Kaiser’s family history of moonshining goes back five generations on the 2bar Ranch in Texas. With Nathan in Washington state, he carried the 2bar name to his six-month-old distillery with a focus on vodka and whiskey. The 2bar Spirits Moonshine is 100% Washington clear corn whiskey, made completely with product from within the state and produced in Seattle’s SoDo district. Their moonshine, another name for white-dog or unaged whiskey, reveals the leaner, cleaner side of whiskey with a pure, inherent corn sweetness, while citrus, pepper and creamy vanilla pull out mid-palate. The finish is bright and approachable, steering clear of heady heat.
