The 9th Annual Great American Distillers Festival

by | Sep 6, 2013

Having embraced and grown the craft distilling movement, the Pacific Northwest is a craft distiller and spirit lovers oasis. This October, craft distillers from across the country will travel to this influential region to meet in Oregon, the Grand Central Station of distilling, for the 9th Annual Great American Distillers Festival.

The Great American Distillers Festival is a gathering of 40 craft distillers from across the country, enthusiastic about their trade and eager to share their knowledge, products and love for distilling during this two day event. The festival features a variety of spirits for attendees to taste and explore as they roam from one distiller to the next or by dropping in on one of the featured tasting seminars. Watch, listen and taste as experts divulge festival goers in industry knowledge and techniques, all while mixing and pouring samples of handcrafted, artisan spirits.

Presented by Rogue Spirits, the Great American Distillers Festival is more than just a collection of delectable and beautifully crafted spirits, it’s a celebration of a growing culture and the handmade movement from which it came. In addition to the distillers and their spirits, the festival also features mixology contests, awards and live music from blues artist, Ural Thomas. A special lunch and dinner are also available for purchase at the event.

Get in the spirit and don’t miss out on this delightfully intoxicating event. The Great American Distillers Festival takes place October 4-5 at the Tiffany Center located in Portland. General admission tickets are available for $25 and include 10 tasting tokens, with additional tokens available for purchase at the event. Concert tickets are available for $10. After hours dinner and show tickets may be purchased for $59. For more information, ticket sales and more, visit the Great American Distillers Festival.
