Sweet Caroline’s Raspberry Mint Shrub

by | Jun 15, 2015

A genuine, handmade husband-and-wife team brings farmers markets and local boutiques the jams, shrubs, sundries and more fruit-based concoctions of Sweet Caroline’s. All the rage for mocktails and cocktails alike, shrubs (also known as drinking vinegars) are making a dent in the fresh and fruity category for beverages. With more than a dozen shrubs on the menu, Mountlake Terrace, Washington’s Sweet Caroline’s provides mixologists and sippers with flavors such as the Grapefruit Tarragon and Nectarine White Balsamic Vanilla. Ease into the tart and tangy with the Raspberry Mint, a shrub that screams for a hit of vodka or even just soda. Small-batch artisanal preserved fruits have never been so hot.
