Portland mainstay celebrates the golden age of travel and the region’s culinary craftsmanship as part of the airport’s latest extension
PORTLAND, OR., April 30, 2026 – This June, Straightaway Cocktails is opening their first full-scale bar in the acclaimed, newly renovated Portland International Airport. With an entire range of Straightaway’s award-winning cocktails, including airport-only offerings, passengers will be able to enjoy a cocktail on-site and take that same cocktail with them on their journey via beloved 4-packs and bottles.
Since launching in 2018 with a tasting room and distillery in Southeast Portland, Straightaway has become an industry leader for innovation, discovery, and farm-to-glass partnerships. As a select cocktail partner for Alaska Airlines, the Straightaway cocktail lounge at PDX is the natural next step in their evolution.
The 1,000-square-foot, 32-seat bar, located in the B Gates, draws inspiration from the golden age of travel—an era celebrated for its gracious hospitality. Travelers can refuel on layovers or unwind at the start of a journey. Green-textured banquette seating, wavy wood walls, and a dark blue bar will provide a welcome and refined respite. Rooted in Pacific Northwest craftsmanship and reflecting the brand’s B Corp values, the space embodies a thoughtful approach to every detail. One example of the careful consideration of materials throughout the space: all wood elements are crafted from upcycled, post-consumer timber sourced from non-forest materials by Good Wood in Portland.
Straightaway’s airport cocktail lounge will offer the brand’s full line of cocktails and Accompani spirits, including its SFWSC Best Of Show amaro, Mari Gold. The menu will also feature a rotation of bespoke cocktails, curated for travelers. For the grand opening, Straightaway will debut two brand-new cocktails—an airport-only Bloody Mary and a new Roma Spritz, made in collaboration with Alaska Airlines. Guests will be able to explore new releases and be the first to sip Straightaway’s current small-batch offerings, experiencing their innovative process in real time. The location will feature an assortment of curated barware and apparel as well.
Straightaway is thrilled to announce it has partnered with the renowned local Italian bakery and cafe, Sebastiano’s, to serve great food to hungry travelers. The menu will feature flavor-packed Euro-Northwest meals. In what is sure to become a signature dish, Sebastiano’s has teamed up with Straightaway to introduce a pizza cone, a beloved handheld filled-focaccia street food popularized in Rome. Fan-favorites like Sebastiano’s radicchio salad, soups, and more will also be available, as will gifts like housemade marmalades, olive oils, and hot sauces to take on their travels.
Commenting on the new space, CEO and Co-Founder Cy Cain said, “We were honored to be chosen by the Port of Portland, along with each of the other amazing maker brands, to meet travelers as they visit the City of Roses. Our brand is rooted in cocktail culture and honoring the craft at its highest level. This space goes far beyond sitting on a retailer’s shelf, and affords us the opportunity to meet the cocktail-enchanted and cocktail-curious alike to share our love of a properly made drink. It is still early days for adoption in our category, but more and more cocktail fans are finding that it can be a delightful unlock to bring great cocktails to the party, event, or destination they are headed to.”
More than a standalone opening, this is an expansion of what Straightaway is building: a collaborative, ingredient-first approach to world-class cocktails for everyone to love and enjoy.

About Straightaway Cocktails
Straightaway Cocktails is singular in its pursuit of the perfect cocktail. This pursuit includes sourcing real ingredients from farmers and purveyors they trust while also producing its own house liqueurs, amaros, and vermouths under its bartender-beloved Accompani brand.
That commitment has earned global recognition. Straightaway continues to garner a distinctly rare set of the global industry’s highest honors: Best of Show from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Best RTD at the New York World Spirits Competition, and, in 2025, winning RTD of the Year by Bartender Spirits Awards and BevNet’s Wine Cocktail of the Year.
Since launching in 2018, Straightaway has built a reputation as a mission-driven cocktail company, giving back through their partnerships with 1% for the Planet and 1% for Human Rights, joining the B Corporation community in 2024 as one of only 43 distilleries worldwide, and continuing to expand collaborations with local makers, farms, and nonprofit partners. This June, it will open its first airport flagship at PDX, expanding on partnerships with Alaska Airlines and Breeze Airways.
