Stanley Park Brewing 1897 Amber

by | Aug 1, 2013

The original Stanley Park Brewing was established in 1897 on the south shore of Lost Lagoon in Vancouver, BC’s Stanley Park. The brewery today has re-established itself as Canada’s first sustainable brewery, producing brews that are new to the region and even to the historical brewery. The 1897 Amber, named for the founding vintage, is built as a Belgian-style red with French and Canadian malts and European hops to yield a specific style of toasted and creamy malts with a medium body and slightly hopped and bitter, clean finish.
