You can easily make soft, luscious chocolate granache truffles at home. And if you choose to make them yourself, that also means the option to customize the flavors and toppings. This version embraces Coffee Liqueur from Straightaway Cocktails to amp up the flavor profile. Choose to roll some of the truffles in crushed Oregon hazelnuts, or opt for a bolder note with cocoa powder.

Ingredients
2 4-ounce semi-sweet chocolate baking bars
½ cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons Straightaway Cocktails Coffee Liqueur
Chopped hazelnuts or cocoa powder, for coating
Directions
Finely chop the chocolate and transfer it to a heat-safe bowl. Bring the heavy cream just to a boil in a pot on the stove. (This can be done in a microwave as well.) Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let the mixture sit for one minute. Use a whisk to stir the ganache until the cream and chocolate are fully combined and smooth. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. Cover and transfer the bowl to the refrigerator to chill for one hour.
Scoop tablespoon-sized sections of the ganache and roll each into a ball. Roll in chopped hazelnuts or cocoa powder. Serve chilled.
