SIPsoda Co. Botanical Fruit Sodas

by | Dec 2, 2013

SIPsoda is not the officially branded drink of Sip Northwest magazine, though with a product this tasty, local, pure and awesome, it certainly could be! SIPsoda co. is based in Vancouver, BC and founded by local food scientist and “fine water connoisseur,” Jennifer Martin. SIP stands for “Simple, Infused, Pairings of Botanicals and Fruit” and are made in small batches from natural ingredients. Their three sparkling flavors are set in local spring water, yielding only 25 calories and a lot of bright, spritzy flavor without sweetness. These are sophisticated sippers. I like SIPsoda straight, but they also make great bases for creative non-alc (or spirited) cocktails or food pairings for non-drinkers. The creative line contains Lavender Lemon Peel, Coriander Orange and my personal favorite–Rosemary Lime. Just think of the pairing possibilities! Seek out SIPsoda.
