Sip Juice Cart Hawthorne

by | Dec 15, 2014

First off—great name. Introducing itself to Portland juicers in 2008 (with said great name), Sip Juice Cart launched within a renovated camper in Southeast, opening a second location on NE Alberta three years later and their restaurant, Canteen, on SE Stark in 2012. Their mission, like their ingredients, is raw and straightforward—to use only fresh organic local produce, keeping it “simple yet inventive and dare we say, delicious.” Options range from 12 and 16 ounce juices to smoothies, vegan milkshakes, steamed juice elixirs, shots, coffee, food and more. A neighborhood favorite of both locations is the Hawthorne, a blend of apple, carrot, parsley, lemon and ginger juiced down to frothy flawlessness. Tangy and sweet, juicers can add in any green (kale is recommended for this juice) to any juice for only 75 cents, ginger for another 50 and garlic for free (at your own risk).
