Pemberton Distillery Schramm Organic Vodka

by | Jul 26, 2013

You don’t come by the name “Spud Valley” casually – you have to earn it. Pemberton, just outside of Whistler, is famed for its potatoes. In fact, its potatoes are of such quality, that Pemberton is a world supplier of seed potatoes and high grade table potatoes. This premium, organic, all-natural vodka is handcrafted with Pemberton’s finest – Across the Creek Organic potatoes. Master distiller Tyler Schramm uses five different varieties of potatoes in this spirit. No white bread potatoes here – the skins are even left on for extra character. So with all of that, you can forget about vodka being odorless and tasteless.  This smooth and sleek full-bodied spirit has a lifted floral aroma, pronounced heady earthiness, a soft whiff of sweetness and an undercurrent of complex spicy notes.

Enjoy this neat, chilled and on the rocks, preferably within view of the stunning glass bottle, featuring an original painting of Mt. Currie as viewed from the Pemberton Distillery, courtesy of Vancouver artist Chris Ainslie.
