Revamped Gluten-Free Menu, Expanded Drink Selection & Community Events Coming to SE Division in Spring 2025

PORTLAND, OR – March 4, 2025 – Today, Schilling Cider announced the reopening of its Portland Cider House in Spring 2025 at a new location on SE Division, highlighting revamped food and drink menus. The move to a bigger, brighter space will amplify the cider experience, underscoring Schilling’s dedication to craft cider and the vibrant Portland community. With this new location, Schilling aims to create a hub for cider enthusiasts and newcomers alike, further cementing its position as a cornerstone of the local community.

The Cider House will feature an impressive selection of 30+ taps, including new specialty cider cocktails and craft beer, alongside Schilling’s award-winning ciders and hard lemonades. This diverse offering, including a curated selection of guest taps, ensures that every palate will find its match, from crisp traditional ciders to innovative flavor combinations and refreshing brews.

Building on local favorites from the previous location, the kitchen will remain 100% gluten-free, keeping beloved menu items such as the gluten-free corn dogs while introducing thoughtfully curated options that pair well with cider, like high-quality charcuterie boards, fried chicken sandwiches, and seasonal specials.

The new location is designed to be a third place for all. From family outings and date nights to book club get-togethers, local sports watch parties, Drag Bingo and trivia nights, the Cider House is excited to host events that unite the community. In partnership with the Portland Pickles, Schilling plans to offer ticket giveaways throughout the season and host events for fans to connect. The space features garage doors that open to an outdoor seating area, large tables for activities, comfortable lounge-like seating, and floor-to-ceiling windows letting natural light shine in year-round. The Cider House is also available to rent for private events, providing the perfect spot for locals’ next party or neighborhood get-together.

“Our goal is to create a welcoming space where the community can come together to enjoy exceptional ciders, delicious food, and great company,” expressed Colin Schilling, Co-Founder and CEO. “Our team is committed to providing an exceptional experience for all, introducing folks to craft cider, serving long-time cider fans, and becoming part of the neighborhood. We can’t wait to see how the community makes the Schilling Cider House their own!”
