In Preview: Wine Rocks Seattle

by | Jun 26, 2014

The typical wine tasting or festival boasts of the opportunity to sample through an impressive array of palate-pleasing products from various vineyards, to pair such sips with delicious bites and to converse with the winemakers themselves. Wine Rocks Seattle offers all of the perks of the average wine festival, but with an added and completely original bonus—a handful of winemakers will be on hand not only to explain the brilliance behind their barrels, but to serenade the crowd with their musical prowess.

Back for its seventh year, get ready to let loose and party like a (classy) rock star at Seattle’s waterfront on July 10. Taste through wines from over 40 wineries while simultaneously rocking out to performances by local Washington vintners. Since grooving to tunes with drinks in hand is sure to make you ravenous, get ready to peruse through six of the city’s hottest food trucks until you find the bite of your heart’s desire.

Not only is this event guaranteed to delight one’s taste buds and ears, but it is also sure to lift every attendee’s spirits—the proceeds benefit Food Lifeline, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to end hunger in Western Washington.

Let’s plan to pop some bottles, raise some glasses and shake our hips in celebration of a good cause at Wine Rocks Seattle this July!
