WALLA WALLA, WASH. (June 6, 2024) – Nine Hats Wines has opened a new tasting room in downtown Walla Walla’s historic Marcus Whitman Hotel. The tasting room at 6 W. Rose St., Suite 105, welcomes drop-in guests for tasting flights and wines by the glass Wednesday – Sunday from 12 – 7 pm.

Nine Hats is known for producing fresh, approachable Columbia Valley wines for everyday enjoyment; the new tasting room reflects the wines’ casual, inviting style. Nine Hats President Dane Narbaitz notes, “Community and connection are the essence of Nine Hats. We’ve designed a bright, welcoming space that’s not just a tasting room but a place for people to come together and feel at home.”

Nine Hats’ downtown Walla Walla venue is its second tasting room. The winery opened its first location in Seattle’s SoDo (South of Downtown) neighborhood in 2017, embracing the growing trend of urban tasting rooms.
