GARDEN CITY, ID, [February 20, 2025] — One of the Treasure Valley’s top restaurant brands, Bardenay, announces the opening of the bar and restaurant at its new location at 3100 W. Chinden Blvd., neighboring the renowned Riverside Hotel. The establishment includes an expansive distillery, restaurant and an on-site liquor store.
“I’m excited to advance the distillery side of our business,” said owner Kevin Settles. While the distillery is not yet operational, patrons can enjoy the full menu at the restaurant and partake in curated tastings to explore Bardenay’s selection of spirits before browsing the store.
The 3,000-square-foot distillery quadruples the size of Bardenay’s previous largest distillery at its Eagle location, with the remaining 4,500 square feet reserved for the restaurant and patio.
The addition of two 100-gallon stills grows the total across locations to five, poised to boost production of Bardenay’s premium spirits by 40% when operations begin mid-spring. One still is brand-new and designed for high-proof spirits, while the other has been modified for low-proof production. Both are manufactured by Vendome Copper and Brass, the country’s foremost metal fabricator, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.
The new facility also features a small on-site Idaho State Liquor Store, now open. Once the distillery is up and running, every on-site bottle purchase will offer the opportunity for a free tour of the distillery.
“After 25 years of distilling, we’re overjoyed to finally offer our spirits directly to the public,” said Settles.
The store stocks Bardenay’s full range of vodkas, rums, and flavored liqueurs, as well as its dry gin and rye whiskey for customers to recreate their favorite craft cocktails, like the Bardenay Vodka Martini, Basil Instinct, and Wobbly Pineapple.
The expansion also enables Bardenay to grow whiskey production beyond the small scale of its Boise location.
“With a new brewhouse to process grains, we’re not only streamlining the sale of our developing American whiskey but also opening the door to experiment with bourbon and canned cocktails,” said Settles.
Beyond serving on-site distilled spirits at its four locations, Bardenay offers its expanding portfolio of products at liquor stores across the state.
