Tacoma, WA – Narrows Brewing, a cornerstone of Tacoma’s craft beer community, is excited to announce the opening of its new standalone taproom at 2620 N Proctor Street in the vibrant Proctor District. Doors will open to the public in June, offering a fresh space for Proctor residents and Tacoma beer enthusiasts aged 21 and older to enjoy Narrows’ signature brews.
This expansion aims to boost brand awareness and better serve the Proctor neighborhood while maintaining the laid-back, community-driven vibe that defines Narrows Brewing’s flagship waterfront location at Narrows Marina. “We’re very excited to be expanding into the Proctor neighborhood,” said Parker Rush, owner of Narrows Brewing. “We’ve been working hard to find a space where we can add to an already vibrant area and coexist cohesively with the incredible businesses here. We hope the community will enjoy our Damn Drinkable beer.”
The taproom will feature 12 beer taps, 4 cider taps, and an expanded selection of wines, with all beers and ciders crafted by Narrows Brewing and wines sourced from a variety of regions, both local and beyond. While brewing will remain exclusive to the flagship location, the Proctor taproom will showcase a unique lineup of beers distinct from those at Narrows Marina, giving visitors a fresh taste of the brewery’s creativity. The new taproom will have light snacks like charcuterie, and will feature pop-up collaborations with local chefs and food trucks, including Field to Fire, to elevate the dining experience.
“We’re thrilled to bring our vision to Proctor and create a space that feels familiar yet new,” said Lauren Rush, co-owner of Narrows Brewing. “This taproom is about building on what we’ve started—great beer, good company, and a place that fits right into the neighborhood.”
The Proctor taproom will operate daily from noon to 9 p.m., welcoming guests seven days a week. Beyond serving up quality drinks, Narrows Brewing is committed to engaging with the Tacoma community by hiring additional staff and fostering connections in the Proctor District through local partnerships and events.
