
The Third Annual Malbec Event Will Bring Together 18+ Oregon Wineries Partnering With Our Legacy Harvested with Early Bird Tickets On Sale Until March 31 Timbers Soccer Star Diego Valeri to Pour His New Label, ConurWines
PORTLAND, OR. – (March. 20, 2025) – The first Malbec event in the country, Malbec in the City, is returning for its third annual event in celebration of World Malbec Day from 12-5pm on Saturday, April 19. The tasting event will bring together 18+ local wineries pouring Oregon Malbecs in partnership with local wine industry nonprofit, Our Legacy Harvested, with exciting tango performances, live music, and more throughout the event. Timbers soccer star Diego Valeri joins this year’s lineup of winemakers, bringing together Malbec enthusiasts and soccer fans for an exciting event. Artist Xochilt Ruvalcaba will be at the event painting with her beautiful work on display and available for sale.
Early bird tickets for the event are now available for $55 per person through March 31th, and $65 per person after. Tickets include one keepsake Malbec in the City wine glass, as well as wine tasting from 1- 5pm. VIP tickets are available for $80 per person, offering an opportunity to skip the line with early entrance, a private seating area, one complimentary Malbec in the City wine glass for tasting, as well as wine tasting from 12 – 5pm.
Malbec in the City is in partnership with Our Legacy Harvested (OLH), an Oregon nonprofit dedicated to bringing diversity to the wine industry, working with BIPOC individuals from across the country to advance knowledge and expertise within the industry. The long-term goal of OLH is to build a permanent campus used to host pop-up events, fundraisers, dinners, educational seminars, and to foster the growing and evolving BIPOC wine community through partnerships with tasting rooms, cellars and vineyards.
