Kachka Fabrika’s Throwing a Euro-Disco Cocktail Party for New Year’s Eve

Ice luge, caviar bumps, disco vibes and a decadent seafood raw bar are on the menu for the new year celebration at Kachka Fabrika 

Kachka’s annual New Year’s Eve dinner has grown into one of Portland’s most beloved holiday traditions—a buzzing, joy-filled night where tables brim with zakuski and guests raise glass after glass of vodka and champagne to ring in the year ahead. This year, the celebration gets even bigger, with the ultimate New Year’s Eve cocktail party at Kachka’s vibrant distillery bar, Fabrika.

Kicking off at 9pm on December 31st, this ticketed event includes a welcome vodka shot and caviar bump, passed hors d’oeuvres, a raw bar (fresh oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, and more), with music and hearty snacks all night long (until 1am). Additional beverages will be available for purchase. The Kachka crew loves a theme, and guests are encouraged to arrive in their sparkliest attire.

About Kachka Fabrika Distillery & Zakuski Bar

Since opening Kachka in 2014, we’ve been on a mission to showcase the beauty and breadth of post-Soviet food and drink—especially vodka! Over the years, our house infusions became a signature of the restaurant, sparking curiosity and conversations at the table. But behind the scenes, we dreamed of something bigger: bringing distillation in-house. Fabrika is the realization of that dream. Here, inside our own distillery (Est. 2025), we’re able to take our years of tasting, serving, and educating on vodka and channel them into spirits that are entirely our own. From our beloved Kachka Horseradish Vodka to seasonal infusions, like Hood Strawberry, Kramambulya, and now our Classic Wheat Vodka—developed through careful trial and error in the Russian tradition and distilled with Portland’s pure water—every bottle reflects the craft and care that define Kachka. We created the cocktail bar as a place to celebrate it all: martinis made with our vodka, a seafood-forward zakuski menu, and the beauty of gathering together. It’s also located next door to our dumpling workshop, so of course you can find a steaming bowl of pelmeni on the menu there, too. Settle in, raise a toast, and as always, follow the Kachka ritual:

eat, clink, drink, repeat. Fabrika is open Thursday-Monday, 4pm-close, with oyster happy hour daily from 4-6pm, and late night happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to close.
