SEATTLE, WA –Fremont Brewing is celebrating its 16th Anniversary with a special one-day event on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at its flagship Urban Beer Garden in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
To mark the occasion, the brewery is releasing 16 of its most beloved vintage Barrel-Aged beers from its cellar for sale, each wax-topped and hand-selected for this milestone. Additionally, Fremont will debut its commemorative 16th Anniversary Barrel-Aged Barleywine in 22oz bottles, dipped in anniversary wax to match the traditional 16th anniversary gift.
Anniversary Day Highlights (August 16 starting at 11am):
- 16th Anniversary Barrel-Aged Barleywine available in limited quantities plus past and present anniversary barleywine on draft. Commemorative Fremont glass given to the first 100 guests who purchase the 2025 Anniversary beer.

- 2pm Release: Double Barrel Brew 8K, Ye Old Centaur, 2022 BBOMB Coffee Cinnamon, 2023 Rusty Nail
- $4 pints of Fremont classics: Golden Pils, Sky Kraken, Interurban IPA, Lush IPA, and Lost Lake Cider
- Smashburgers available at Smash That Burger located onsite at the Beer Garden
Founded in 2009 with a roll-up door and a focus on community, Fremont Brewing has grown into Washington’s third largest craft brewery. The anniversary celebration honors the brewery’s deep roots in Seattle’s craft beer scene and its passionate fan base.

The event is open to the public and will take place at the Fremont Urban Beer Garden (1050 N 34th St, Seattle). Early arrival is encouraged, as bottle quantities will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
