Dirty Bucket Brewing Sicyne India Pale Ale

by | Feb 12, 2015

It’s not hard to forget it’s been winter in the Pacific Northwest with the lack of customary cloudy days, annual snowfall and frigid cold. Kick back on the porch with a glass of Woodinville, Washington-based Dirty Bucket Brewing Co.’s refreshing Sicyne India pale ale to achieve the optimal spring state of mind.

Combing elements of their ESB and flagship IPA, then loaded with a heavy hand of citra hops, this IPA carries a woodsy malt backbone with some citrusy hop zing to brighten it up a bit. Originally brewed to celebrate the brewery’s anniversary, the owners thought it would be more fitting to make it the namesake beer for a fellow hophead and late friend.
