Dageraad Brewing Co. De Witte Wheat Ale

by | Jun 25, 2015

Burnaby, British Columbia’s Dageraad Brewing specializes in Belgian-styled beers, with a creative and entirely West Coast interpretation. Their De Witte, is a sour wheat ale brewed in the tradition of the white ales of the Flemish Brabant. Dry-hopped with citra hops, made with malted and unmalted wheat and spiced with orange peel and coriander, De Witte is based on gentle orange citrus with light grapefruit bitterness, evident wheat and a crisp, pleasantly sour finish. It’s a terrific beer (at 5.2% ABV) to refresh through this early summer heat wave.
