Bridge Brewing Bourbon Blood Orange Wheat Ale

by | Aug 27, 2015

North Vancouver’s Bridge Brewing Company is making sure you ride out the last days and rays of summer in proper form, with their seasonal Bourbon Blood Orange Wheat Ale. Magnum and Centennial hops are kicked up with a subtle splash of bourbon, complementing the fresh blood orange and grapefruit-slicked cereals and mild, earthy hop bitterness. Bourbon adds a gentle cushioning, though this lightly hazy sipper finishes as a refreshing, orange-imbued wheat ale, calling for patio and late summer evening. Brewed in conjunction with Vancouver taphouse group Tap & Barrel.
