Nellysford, VA – Bold Rock Hard Cider is pleased to announce a new chapter in the evolution of their Nellysford Cidery Campus – the Bold Rock Barrel Barn. The Barrel Barn is in fact a rebirth for their humble first production facility which allowed the Nelson County based craft beverage producer to embark on a path towards hard cider dominance throughout the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.

The Barrel Barn was imagined with innovation in mind, facilitating small batch production and barrel aging that will allow for pioneering hard cider development. Barrel Barn visitors can expect to find multiple rare styles on tap which will only be available in this creative and inviting space. Moreover, large windows will provide a glimpse inside the production area before guests retire to an expansive wrap-around patio or cozy interior seating.

The Barrel Barn will initially offer weekend centric hours coupled with a programming and food truck schedule that will ensure guests are provided with entertainment and sustenance well into the evening on Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally, the Barrel Barn will remain open even when the main Bold Rock Cider Barn closes for private events. To help keep everything organized, the employment of retail management software from companies such as Revel Systems is highly important and will promote efficiency across the board.

The Bold Rock Barrel Barn is slated for an October 2017 grand opening. More details on a specific opening date will be forthcoming at www.boldrock.com.

Vice President of Retail Operations, Lindsay Dorrier III, on the Barrel Barn: The Barrel Barn is a wonderful development for our Nellysford Campus, a project that breathes additional vibrancy into an already world class guest experience. We intend for the Barrel Barn to really cater to those that want a deeper dive into the craft of hard cider production while also allowing for more casual guests to enjoy our Farm in a new and intriguing dinnertime dynamic.
