Behind the Bar: Tide You Over

by | May 30, 2024

Immerse yourself in the coastal beauty of the Pacific Northwest with Sheringham Distillery’s Seaside Gin. With its carefully crafted mix of botanicals, this gin pays homage to the diverse range of plant life along the Pacific Northwest coastline. What sets Seaside Gin apart is the addition of locally sourced, sustainably harvested winged kelp, which imparts a subtle, briny and oceanic flavor to the spirit. I couldn’t resist the allure of Seaside Gin’s maritime flavors that go so well with fresh cucumber, lime, coriander and a touch of fiery heat. Sipping this cocktail on a warm summer night by the ocean is nothing short of a transformative experience.

TIP: Seagrapes are the perfect garnish for this cocktail. A type of seaweed, they pop like caviar on the tongue, creating a unique cocktail experience. You can find them at your local Asian market or online.
