Ascend Prime’s Community Cocktail Benefits the Backpack Brigade this Fall!

by | Aug 23, 2024

The Community Cocktail has returned to Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi for guests to sip and support local youth going back to school! To assist King County students this fall, Ascend has partnered with AHG Cares, the philanthropic arm of its parent company Ascend Hospitality Group, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to donate $1 from every Community Cocktail sold to the Backpack Brigade. In addition, Tito’s will also be donating $500 to the cause.

The Backpack Brigade is a weekly program in which volunteers prep, pack, and deliver weekend hunger bags of nutritious, easy-to-eat food to over 4,500 kids in five school districts across King County to ensure kids are hunger-free and ready to learn on Monday mornings.

For sipping now through the end of September, the Community Cocktail is titled Ms. Frizzle, after one of pop culture’s favorite teachers, and is crafted with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, bergamot liqueur, lemon, melon, and matcha vanilla milk syrup, served over crushed ice in a glass milk carton.
