Celebrate new wine releases, live disgorging of traditional method sparkling, festive Derby-themed touches, and small-batch wines from a science-driven husband-and-wife winemaking team
Amity, Ore. (April. 16, 2025) — Arabilis will host its first-ever Spring Release Open House on Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its production space at 203 5th St. in Amity. This free, drop-in celebration will feature tastes of new releases, light bites, and a behind-the-scenes look at the craft behind Arabilis’s small-batch, traditional method sparkling and still wines. Based in the Willamette Valley, Arabilis is a rising star led by a husband-and-wife winemaking team with science backgrounds and a shared passion for precision.
Guests can expect a festive Derby theme, come-and-go atmosphere, with the opportunity to sample Arabilis’s just-released wines, see live disgorging demonstrations, and meet the founders—Kenny and Allison McMahon—a husband-and-wife team of PhD scientists turned winemakers.
Arabilis is known for its methodical approach to winemaking, crafting wines that merge scientific expertise with artistic intuition. Their limited-production traditional method sparkling wines have quickly gained recognition for their intentionality, minerality, intensity, and complexity—so much so that their previous sparkling release sold out.

Light bites will be provided and live disgorging will be featured throughout the day—an exciting, hands-on opportunity for guests to witness this rarely seen part of the sparkling wine process. Club members are invited to pick up their spring allocation, and non-members are welcome to join the celebration, purchase bottles on site, or pre-order online.
