ANTHEM Cider Blind Tiger

by | Nov 24, 2015

Crafted as the New World second label of Wandering Aengus Ciderworks, ANTHEM Cider in Salem, Oregon, was first kegged back in 2010. Since in operation, the company has been producing cider the only way they know how: authentically. Pressing real apples and fermenting the juice only a few days later, much of the fruit for ANTHEM comes from trusted Northwest orchards in which Wandering Aengus has long-term relationships with. The uncompromising approach in tandem with locally sourcing organic ingredients when possible is key for the product that has a full body flavor in conjunction with the apples tartness.

The Bling Tiger is a bourbon barrel-aged sipper with a pale yellow color when poured. The hazy appeal in the glass lends sweet aromas of apple with a hint of vanilla, earth and oak in the background. Once sipped, the bourbon becomes the forward flavor with classic apple tones to complement this dry cider.
