Eaglemount Boot Brawl Cider

by | Apr 8, 2014

This cider is “as tough as it gets.” Eaglemount Wine & Cider takes seven different hop varieties matched with French and English organic heirloom apple varieties from their homestead orchard in Port Townsend, Wash., to create their heavy-duty Boot Brawl cider. At a hefty eight percent ABV, this cider gets down to the nitty-gritty with a kick to the face of hops, layered with aromas of grapefruit, citrus rind and a touch of pine that grazes the nose right as the apple punts through to level the floor. The palate is lightly carbonated and semi-sweet to balance out the brash hops while apple juice and tannin round out the rough edges.
