7 Seas Brewing 253 Pilsner

by | Dec 17, 2015

Pilsner with a purpose: that’s the mission behind Gig Harbor, Washington-based 7 Seas Brewing’s 253 Pilsner, a collaboration with Tacoma, Washington design company 253Heart.

The beer itself is a Pacific Northwest take on a classic pilsner lager. Brewed with Northwest Pale and Pilsner malts and hopped up with locally sourced Sterling and Cascade, this crisp, refreshing beer is almost too easy to drink. And good thing. With proceeds from the beer going to support local, Tacoma-area nonprofit organizations like Alchemy Indoor and Peninsula Hands On Art, there’s plenty of reasons to opt for another round.

Harnessed within a gold and black can boasting the infamously popular heart-shaped area code, the can, its contents and the causes it supports give this Gig Harbor beer a truly hyper-local spin. At only 5.2 percent ABV, go ahead and pick up a six-pack (or two, or three), and crack open a can of this collaborative 253 Pilsner. After all, it’s for a good cause.
