Explore Oregon’s Fall Bounty with the 2024 Harvest Trail Passport from Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory

Discover local farms, farm stands, food experiences and more with this free passport

Oregon City, Ore. — Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory, the official tourism organization for Clackamas County, Oregon, has launched the 2024 Harvest Trail Passport, a free program designed to highlight the region’s diverse agricultural experiences. Visitors and locals alike can sign up to discover a curated selection of local farms and experiences that showcase the region’s fall bounty.

This year, three new farms — Triskelee Farm, Frog Pond Farm and Historic Kirchem Farm — will join the trail! Participants can collect stamps at each location they visit, earning points toward a limited edition Mt. Hood Territory Harvest Trail knit scarf.

“The Harvest Trail Passport is a fantastic way for people to connect with the agricultural heart of our region,” said Interim Executive Director Sarah Eckman. “It provides a fun and engaging experience for everyone, whether you’re interested in shopping for local produce or simply exploring the beautiful farms and countryside that make Mt. Hood Territory so special.”

How It Works

  1. Pick Up Your Passport: Throughout October, pick up a free passport stamp card at any of the eight participating farms: Dolan Creek Farm, Bushue’s Family Farm, Yesteryear Farms, Fiala Farms, Liepold Farms, Frog Pond Farm, Triskelee Farm and Historic Kirchem Farm. You can also download and print the passport from the website.
  2. Complete Activities: Visit two or more farms and complete at least five designated activities. Look for the “stamp your passport here” signs located near the checkout at each farm and stamp your passport after completing the activities.
  3. Redeem Your Passport: Once your passport is stamped, redeem it for a custom Mt. Hood Territory Harvest Trail knit scarf at one of the five designated redemption locations listed on the website.
  4. Support the Community: For every passport redeemed, a Thanksgiving meal will be provided to a local family in need through the Sandy Community Action Center, a local non-profit organization.

Can’t participate in the Harvest Trail Passport? You can still support the Sandy Community Action Center directly by donating instead of redeeming your passport.

Prizes and offers are valid through October 31, 2024. Prizes are limited to the first 200 redemptions and must be redeemed at one of the official redemption stations during normal operating hours.
