2 Towns Ciderhouse Serious Scrump

by | Mar 3, 2015

From 2 Towns Ciderhouse in Corvallis, Oregon, comes a rare Northwest expression of an imperial English ice cider in the form of Serious Scrump. The bottling clocks in at 11 percent ABV, making this cider a heavy hitter not only in flavor but in alcohol content as well. Its powerful tart apple flavor base is the result of freezing and thawing prior to cold fermentation, a process which kicks up the aromatics of the brew before English cider yeast turns the juice into a dry final beverage. And though there is no overbearing sweetness to the cider, it retains honeyed flavor nuances that play across the palate with every sip.
