The Pub Station || A refurbished bus station offering live entertainment almost nightly. With a wide selection of local brews on tap, you can get the best of both worlds. Some of the shows coming up this month include Martin Sexton, Skillet, OTEP, Adelitas Way, Greensky Bluegrass, Old 97’s, Red Fang and the Clintons. Shows at the Pub Station are intimate, keeping you close to the action and making the show even more memorable.
The Babcock Theatre || The Babcock is a fantastic, historic stop downtown. Performing this month is the Terpischore Dance Co., as well as a local rock and roll concert. Whether you catch an event or just stop to check it out, you won’t be disappointed. The theatre was built in 1907 and boast its original marquee. It’s undergone extensive restoration in recent years and is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Located on 2nd Avenue near Skypoint, this stop brings you to the heart of Downtown Billings.
The Alberta Bair Theatre || Another historic venue in Billings that features a variety of shows. Originally known as The Fox Theater, this venue opened in 1931. Just a block from the Babcock on North Broadway, the Alberta doesn’t have a bad seat in the house. Line ups this spring include Naked Magicians, Garrison Keillor, Amy Grant, varied comedy offerings and the Billings Symphony presents the Big Brass. Enjoy a brew and then take in a show.
The Breweries and Distilleries || The various stops along the Walking Brewery District often have live music and events. Thirsty Street has Brewga (yoga and brews) as well as Spirituality On Tap, a different take on religion while enjoying a brew. Yellowstone Valley Brewing and Trailhead Spirits often bring in life music. And, Downtown Billings is an eventful place! Look for events like ArtWalk, Alive After Five, summer farmers markets, festivals, baseball games at Dehler Park and more.
